The TMC has slammed BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari who defeated Mamata Banerjee in the Nandigram war in last month's West Bengal election results. The TMC has slammed Suvendu for introducing anti-defection laws to prevent manipulation and asked him to first tell him where your 24 MLAs are. TMC MP Banerjee on Monday said she should focus on the 24 missing MLAs of her own party before thinking about bringing an anti-defection law from Suvendu. Suvendu along with party MLAs met Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar on Monday. Out of 74 BJP MLAs, only 50 were present in the meeting. 24 MLAs did not attend the meeting. It is also being said that many MLAs are angry with the party and some may return to the TMC following in the footsteps of Kul Roy.

Where are the 24 missing BJP MLAs?: Mamata Banerjee attacked and asked- Where are the 24 missing BJP MLAs? First, you talk about issuing anti-defection laws against them. The Suvendu officer needs to take care of his MLAs first. After which he has thought of talking about others. Banerjee told the media that bjp is in power at the Centre so Suvendu may ask her to bring a new law as it is her own party. Banerjee further said that the anti-defection law is not a subject of any person. It should be passed in both the Houses of Parliament and then in the Assembly. If bjp opposition leaders want to bring a new rule, they have to ask the Central government because bjp is in power".

'Breaking and linking TMC politics': Janha It is learnt that Suvendu had spoken after his meeting with Dhankhar that "breaking and linking is part of Trinamool Congress politics. They have been doing this for the last 10 years and it has become unopposed, but now the one who has been opposed is going to know and action will be taken under the anti-defection law".
