The white woman who called the police to film a black man filming in Central Park where a video appears have gone viral on social media last Monday, after which the employer of that video announced an administrative holiday. According to information from sources, the video was first posted on Facebook by Christian Cooper, where he says he encountered the woman at 8 am in Ramble, a protected nature reserve located within Central Park was roaming with her pet (dog). He also provided some leases for all the dogs, as in other parts of Central Park, but all the dogs should be with a leash at all times in Ramble.
Cooper says that he asked the woman to keep her dog tied to the leash. As the woman said that the dog has imposed restrictions on running, and her dog needs exercise. Cooper says he was about to treat the dog when he replied "Don't touch my dog", and then he started recording videos from his iPhone. She says in the video "I am going to tell them that my life is threatened by an African and American person". The man replies, "Please tell them what you like." He then walks a few feet away and makes a call.
Whereupon he says I'm sorry, I'm in the rumble, and there's a man, African with a bicycle helmet. He's recording me, and threatening me and my dog, "she says, presumably from 9 a.m. She repeats this to herself, and then says," I'm sorry I can't hear you. I am being threatened by a person. Please send the police immediately. "The woman in the video puts her dog in a collar, making her distressed. The video became increasingly viral on Facebook and Twitter when the video was shared by Cooper's sister Melody.
