New Delhi: Bollywood's ace actress Sushmita Sen is dating former Indian Premier League (IPL) commissioner Lalit Modi. This has been announced by businessman Lalit Modi himself through his social media account. After this information was given by Lalit Modi, the discussion of Sushmita Sen and his relationship started all around.

Let us know that It was Lalit Modi who started the IPL in India. He also served as the Vice President of BCCI from 2005 to 2010. Apart from this, he was also the chairman and commissioner of the IPL from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, Lalit Modi was suspended from the post of IPL commissioner on charges of rigging. He was also suspended from the BCCI. Lalit had fled the country in 2010 following allegations in a money laundering case. In fact, while starting the IPL, Lalit Modi had given many of his family a share in this tournament. With the advent of the IPL in 2008, the league became a superhit and Lalit was highly praised for it.

The players and the BCCI also started benefiting a lot from the IPL. After some time, the IPL and Lalit's personal interests started coming to light and he was removed from the post of vice president of the BCCI after the 2010 IPL final. According to reports, the BCCI levelled 22 serious allegations against Lalit Modi, including awarding a contract to his family, using the IPL broadcasting to its advantage, and rigging the auction.

Born in a large business family in Delhi, Lalit Modi returned to India after studying engineering in the US. Here he saw that there is a lot of passion among people for cricket. Taking inspiration from US sports, Lalit thought about starting the IPL in India. After becoming a member of the Himachal, Rajasthan and Punjab Cricket Associations, Lalit along with the BCCI started working on the IPL plan.
