Yes, it is said that Mahishasur's father Rambha was the king of demons and he once fell in love with a buffalo living in water. It is said that the arrival of Mahishasura came from this yoga. Mahishasura- Mahishasura was a great devotee of Brahma, the creator. It is said that Brahmaji gave him a gift that no god or demon can win him. At the same time, Mahishasura started slowly tormenting the gods of heaven and he also hit the earth. Once Mahishasura suddenly invaded heaven and defeated Indra and made heaven in his name. After that all the gods got sad and sought help from the gods Trimurti Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwar. At the same time, all the Gods fought together to defeat Mahishasura once again, but, the gods were defeated again.

Godess Bhagwati kills Mahisasur that's why she is known as Mahisasur mardani.  When Devi appeared, Lord Shiva called her Trishul Devi. At the same time, Lord Vishnu also gave a cycle to the Goddess. All such gods and goddesses decorated the hands of the goddess with different types of weapons. After this Mahishasura came to an end.
