Ranchi: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo and former CM of Bihar Lalu Prasad Yadav are serving sentence in Ranchi jail in fodder scam case. On Friday, Lalu was heard in the Jharkhand High Court for violation of additional facilities and jail manual in jail. Earlier, during the last hearing, the court had sought details about those who met Lalu Prasad in the last 3 months, about which information has been given to the court in a sealed envelope by the jail IG and the Superintendent of Birsa Munda Jail.
During the last hearing, the Hon'ble Court had sought clarification on not providing information on behalf of both the officials. Now the information has been provided to the court with an apology from both. After the Vidhan Sabha elections held in Bihar earlier, Lalu Yadav had come in a lot of discussions, where one of his audio went viral on social media. After this, he was shifted back from the RIMS Director's house to the Paying Ward.
After this, Lalu Yadav's security was increased and three-layer security was given. He is no longer allowed to meet anyone. His security has been handed over to DSP level officer.
