Bhopal: Senior Congress leader and Madhya Pradesh unit Chief Kamal Nath has said that the assembly elections are just a few months away. People's mandate will decide the next CM. His remarks come at a time when there is a war of words between some of his party's helpers over the Congress CM face.
Addressing a press conference in Mandsaur district, Kamal Nath said on the question of giving tickets to district-level party workers, "Whatever decision we take, local leaders of the party will have a greater stake." He further said that the Congress has included many schemes in its 'Vachan Patra' (election manifesto). However, reducing the unemployment graph and farmers issues will be on priority.
Along with this, Kamal Nath attacked the state government and said that the picture of Madhya Pradesh is in front of every voter. No matter how much BJP and Shivraj try to lure them, I am sure people will not fall prey to temptation. On the fall and destruction of statues due to wind storm in Ujjain, Kamal Nath said that there has been a scam in Mahalok, statues have fallen from the air, many statues have cracked. The biggest scam has happened in Mahakal Lok. The BJP did not even spare Mahakal for corruption. In 2018, the people of the state formed a Congress government in the state. But later the deal was done. Kamal Nath said that I could also bargain, but I cannot bargain for the chair.
