The 2019 Lok Sabha polls have centered around two faces – one is Narendra Modi and the other is Rahul Gandhi. Besides them, the likes of TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee, TRS leader K Chandrashekar Rao and BSP chief are popular faces in their respective states. The seven phases of Lok Sabha elections took place from April 11 to May 19. As the counting of votes is going to start soon, the talk of 'who will be the next PM' dominates the political discussions.

If we go by the exit polls predictions, BJP-led NDA will win 306-310 seats while the Congress-led UPA and Others will secure 118 and 120 seats respectively. According to the exit polls predictions, NDA in Uttar Pradesh will get 43 seats and the SP-BSP-RLD alliance will emerge victorious from 35 seats. In Maharashtra, the exit polls projected 37 and 11 seats for the NDA and UPA respectively.

The surveys say the NDA will win 14 seats in West Bengal while the UPA and others will get two and 25 seats respectively. In Assam, the NDA is expected to win eights seats and the UPA just three seats, according to the poll of polls. However, different scenarios may come up when the election results will announce today, as the exit polls just give a rough sense of what could happen.
