Patna: Bihar CM is scheduled to hold a high-level meeting on the liquor ban on Tuesday. A day before that, on Monday, he made it clear that the government was not going to withdraw the prohibition law under any circumstances. He said whatever is required to implement prohibition will be done.
He said there is a need to propagate 'Will Drink Will Die.' Talking to reporters after the Chief Minister's programme at Janata Darbar in Patna, the CM said that a meeting on prohibition is scheduled to be held on Tuesday to discuss everything in detail. He said that what is lacking is that such a situation arises. He said that officers and ministers associated with it will be present in the meeting and the entire matter will be considered. He said that there have been several meetings in which the instructions given will also be seen.
The CM said, 'This is not a good thing from anywhere. How people die from drinking. Now, there is a need to propagate that you will die by drinking. See how dirty alcohol is.' CM Nitish Kumar categorically said that the law will not be rendered. People should not drink alcohol. Whoever is negligent in complying with the law will not be spared.
