Mumbai: Former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh is in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case. After the arrest of former Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh in the same money laundering case, the Enforcement Directorate has now issued summons to Anil Deshmukh's son Rishikesh Deshmukh for questioning. He is said to have been summoned to the Enforcement Directorate office for questioning on Friday.

The same former Mumbai Police Commissioner Parambir Singh had written to CM Uddhav Thackeray. In the letter, the former Commissioner had claimed that Anil Deshmukh had demanded Rs 100 crore from Sachin Waze every month when he was home minister. Anil Deshmukh was summoned for questioning by the Enforcement Directorate in the case. In the interrogation on Monday, the investigating agency had found that no satisfactory answers were given by Anil Deshmukh on any question. In that case, they were arrested. Deshmukh is currently in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate till November 6.
