New Delhi: large number of Chinese knives are being purchased online in the capital of the country. In this case, the Delhi Police has now made big revelations. According to the police, more than 5,000 banned knives have been sold so far through the online website. Police are on the lookout for two accused in the case.

Delhi Police is also trying to find out what is the motive behind buying such a large quantity of knives. Police have issued notices to online websites Flipkart and Meesho asking them to provide the list of all those who bought the knife, their addresses, and their phone numbers so that further investigation can be extended. Police suspect that some of these knives have been used in the incident that took place in the past few days. Let me tell you that, it is prohibited to keep such knives in Delhi. The case comes under the Arms Act.

Recently, the Delhi Police found an unclaimed bag, which seemed to be that of a courier boy. When that bag was opened, dozens of Chinese knives were found in it. In the initial interrogation, the police have learnt that boys named Waseem and Nadeem in Gujarat and Hyderabad had placed orders for several knives in bulk together. The police are then on the lookout for the two. At the same time, Delhi Police has so far recovered a total of 14,500 knives. These knives were sourced from China. They were being sold through online platforms Flipkart and The Meesho App. Police have so far arrested five people in this case.
