Tanno Hanuman Prachodayat

Men are chanting 'Hanuman Gayathri Mantra' to strengthen their courage and knowledge. But, why women are restricted to worship Hanumanji?

Lord Hanuman is considered to be a revered deity in Hindu religion and the good who gets pleased very soon. Hanuman Ji is blessed with being a long-lived (Chiranjeevi) and it is believed that in Kalyug, Hanuman Ji is still alive.

In the scriptures, the right to worship any Goddess is done in a similar way to both men and women, but Hanuman is such a god whom women can not worship him.

Here are the reasons:

- Hanuman Ji considers all women as mothers. He doesn't want any female bowing in front of him. All women, including mother Sita, are considered mother.

- Women can not worship Hanuman ji for a long time, they are said to be kingships behind this.

- Women can not read the Bajrang Baan. They can not give Arghya to Hanuman ji.

- Women can do aachaman. Hanumanji can not take a Panchamrit bath at any time during or before worship.

- Women are not allowed to go in temple of Hanumanji. They are restricted to worship the Hanumanji.
