Lucknow: Samajwadi Party (SP) national general secretary Ram Gopal Yadav met Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath last evening. The reason behind the meeting was that Ramgopal Yadav has requested not to harass, former MLA Rameshwar Singh Yadav and his brother Jogendra Singh Yadav including their family, unnecessarily.

In fact, since the time of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), former MLAs Rameshwar Yadav, Jogendra Singh Yadav, his wife and their family have had dozens of cases registered against them. Action has also been taken against this family under the Gangster Act by the Yogi government and now Ram Gopal Yadav has appealed to save this family from the police action. At one time, this domineering family of Etah district used to speak all around. The family has several cases registered against them, including the Gangster Act as well as land grabbing. Recently, the Yogi government had also taken action under the Gangster Act to raze the property, after which Ram Gopal Yadav himself urged CM Yogi to save them.

Let us know that Rameshwar Yadav is considered to be very special to Ram Gopal. Rameshwar Yadav has been an MLA for three times on an SP ticket. Rameshwar and his brother Jogendra Yadav have around 80 cases registered against them. Apart from the Gangster Act, cases have been registered under sections other than the Gangster Act in the case of possession of government land. Police have initiated the process of confiscating properties worth Rs 29 crore of the two brothers.
