Famous Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is popular for playing a variety of characters in his career spanning 4 decades. Along with many characters, Anupam Kher has also played the role of father of many stars in movies, including Shah Rukh Khan in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, late Sushant Singh Rajput in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Rani Mukherjee in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Now recently, the actor has revealed that he misses his child in real life.

In a recent interview, Anupam Kher was asked if he misses having a child of his own, Anupam Kher promptly replied, "I didn't feel that much earlier, but now sometimes I do. I think in the last seven-eight years."

Anupam further said, "It is not that I am not happy with Sikandar, but I think it is also a great joy to see a child grow up. It is a joy to see the bonding and this is an honest answer for you. I could have avoided answering this, but I would not want to. But, it is okay. This is not an event in my life. But, I sometimes think that it would have been a good thing."

Continuing his talk, he further said that "Meanwhile, I was very busy with work, but after the age of 50-55, I started feeling empty. This happened mainly because Kiran got busy and so did Sikander. I work with children in my organization Anupam Kher Foundation. We work a lot with children and sometimes when I see my friends' children and such things... I feel the lack."

Earlier, in an interview given to the media, Anupam Kher had said that Sikandar was 4 years old when he came into his life. Anupam also informed, "What my father was to me, I am the same for him. But to say that I don't miss my child would be a lie."
