Patna: Bihar Education Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, while shifting holidays in some government schools in Kishanganj on Friday, held special discussions with Republic and assured that the matter will be investigated. He said that the schools are bound to follow the rules of the government and the matter will be investigated.

Bihar Education Minister said, "19 schools are getting a holiday on Friday of Kishanganj district, we have no official news about it but now we have come to know, we will get it investigated. By saying or writing something, the institution will not be formed. May. The school will remain in the same category in which it has been recorded in the records of the Government."

He further said "There will be an inquiry and what is right will be done. We are assuring you that what is right will be done as per the rules. Schools are run by the rules of the government, not by any committee. It doesn't matter what a committee is saying, government rules are important. We will examine it and ensure that the functioning of the school is based on the rules.'' Earlier, there were reports that government schools in Jamtara and Dumka in Jharkhand were changing their weekly offs from Sunday to Friday. The decision was taken by the schools without seeking proper permission from the authorities. Speaking on the matter, Sanjay Kumar Dar, DSE Dumka told ANI and said that all schools have 'Urdu' in their names, and thus the circumstances behind the verdict will be investigated.
