Kangana Ranaut starrer Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi has been creating the buzz since its inception. It has created the headlines for various reasons including Sonu Sood’s exit from the film. Sonu had reportedly quit the film when Kangana took over the director’s seat after co-director Krish’s ouster from it. The actor had said he has signed the film with Krish as director. If Krish isn’t a part of the film, he doesn’t want to be part of it either. On the exit of Sonu, Kangana said that Sonu was not comfortable working under a woman director. Now she is unhappy with Sood talking about the project post his departure from it.

In an interview, Queen actress said, “Sonu Sood is not allowed to talk about the project. He should not be speaking about the film as his contract was terminated. He doesn’t hold any sort of participation in the film. Why is he maligning the film? So, these people have deep-rooted agendas. She further added thatm the worst is that they are claiming to be a part of the film. It is shocking how people can exploit the situation. However, it is a time to celebrate for us as the film has crossed Rs 100 crore worldwide.”

film is based on the life of Rani Lakshmi Bai of Jhansi. It is directed by Radha Krishna Jagarlamudi, popularly known as Krish and actress Kangana Ranaut.
