Why is Nitish Kumar not taking action against education minister?

Patna: No action has been taken even after the derogatory remarks made by Chandrashekhar, the education minister in Bihar's Nitish Kumar government regarding India's holy scripture Ramcharitmanas. Now the National President of Lok Janshakti Party (LJP Ram Vilas) and MP Chirag Paswan have demanded the removal of Education Minister Chandrashekhar. Actually, Chandrashekhar had given a derogatory statement saying that Ramcharitmanas based on Ramayana spreads hatred in the society. Chirag Paswan has condemned Chandrashekhar's remarks and said that there is conflict within the JDU-RJD alliance.

LJP leader Chirag Paswan has said that if CM Nitish Kumar says that he does not agree with his minister's remarks, doesn't he have the power to remove the education minister? Why is he not getting the inquiry done? At the same time, JDU has brushed aside this controversy by calling it an internal matter of RJD. JDU National President Rajeev Ranjan alias Lalan Singh has said that his party respects all religions and castes. When asked whether RJD should take action against Minister Chandrashekhar, he said that 'I have not taken the responsibility of RJD nor do I have control over that party. This is an internal matter of RJD and I think the party is competent to take a decision in this regard.'

However, keep in mind that this controversial statement has not been given by any spokesperson or leader of RJD, but by the education minister of the RJD-JDU joint government, so it becomes a matter of the government and not of any party. RJD is in power in Bihar along with JDU and Chandrashekhar is the education minister in JDU leader and CM Nitish Kumar's government, in such a situation it is Nitish Kumar's responsibility to take action against him. At the same time, these questions are also being raised about Nitish Kumar's silence, if his minister had made such a statement regarding any other religion, would Nitish Kumar have remained silent like this?
