May 28, 2016: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Saturday extended best wishes to Pakistan’S Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif foe his open heart surgery, which to be held in UK on coming Tuesday.

Modi’s tweet read as, “My best wishes to PM Nawaz Sharif Sahab for his open heart surgery on Tuesday. And for his speedy recovery & good health.”

The information about the Sharif’s surgery given by Defence Minister Asif.

Asif said, “doctors have advised the prime minister to undergo an open-heart surgery, following which he will be staying in the hospital for a week”

"The prime minister will travel after one week, on doctor's permission," he added.

Maryam Nawaz, the daughter of Sharif also had confirmed on twitter that her father will undergo an open-heart surgery on Tuesday.
