The festival of Hariyali Teej is very close now. This time, Hariyali Teej will be celebrated on 23 July. This special festival of Sawan is also known as Shravani Teej. This festival is also dedicated to Lord Shiva. On this day, Lord Shiva is worshiped along with Goddess Parvati.

Hariyali Teej is seen as a symbol of beauty and love. On this day, women adorn themselves with sixteen adornments and fast for their beloved. For this, women start preparing a few days in advance. This special festival of Hariyali Teej is celebrated to commemorate the reunion of Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati.
