Kanker: A heart-rending incident has come to light in Kanker, Chhattisgarh. After the wife committed suicide, the husband also committed suicide. The two had a love marriage about 3 years ago. Satya Meshram (25 years) of the Kanker Kotwali area had a love marriage with Seema Meshram (23 years). The two lived in a rented room in Mankesari village. He was out of work on Tuesday. Seema was alone at home. Due to this, the children of the neighbour saw Seema hanging from the snare.

Thereafter, the children informed the persons in the vicinity. When the husband also got the news, he ran home. He cut the snare with a knife and brought down the body. After which he took Seema to the hospital but the doctors declared her brought dead. After the death of his wife, Satya sat quietly near the body in the mortuary. Then he got up somewhere at night and went away. People searched for him, but he was nowhere to be found. He switched off his mobile phone as well. The next day, the villagers found Satya's body hanging from a tree behind the house. The police, who arrived after the information, seized the body and sent it for post-mortem.

In the same police interrogation, Satya had denied any fight between the two. He said there was no quarrel between the two. The two had been married for three years. Both had no children. The police are investigating the case as to what was the reason that the wife hanged herself and after that, the husband also hanged himself after 10 hours.
