A shocking incident comes to the light where a 33-year-old man was stabbed to death by his wife's lover on Sunday. As per the information he killed him for allegedly asking her to come and stay with him. The accused was worried that his secret relationship with the woman would end if she relocated with her husband. So he committed this crime.

As per the information, The victim has been identified as  P Veldurai alias Shankar was a painting worker based in Chennai's Ekkaduthangal area. He was married to a woman who was reportedly staying in the Tirunelveli district of Tamil Nadu. The victim recently learnt that his wife was having an affair with a man identified as K Veerabudhiran.

After learning about this Shankar kept his head and asked his wife to come back to Chennai. The accused was angered by Shankar's decision and set out to meet him in Chennai.  Shankar was at a work site in the city's Guindy area on Sunday when Veerabudhiran, a native of Virudhunagar district, reached Chennai.

The duo met at Shankar's workplace and had a conversation but it turns into a heated argument and Veerabudhiran stabbed Shankar with the knife he carried with him, the daily added. The accused fled the scene after the attack and a probe is on.

In a similar incident earlier, In November, a man was arrested in Coimbatore for murdering his younger brother for wedding a widow against his wish. Balamurugan and M Balasubramaniam were brothers. Balasubramaniam tied the knot with a 25-year-old widow. His elder brother reportedly opposed the union as the woman had a child from her previous marriage. He hit his brother on the head with a weapon and killed him.
