Lucknow: Daughter-in-law of former MLA Mukhtar Ansari and wife of MLA Abbas Ansari of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) Nikhat Ansari, who is serving sentence in Banda Jail in Uttar Pradesh, has been arrested. His wife Nikhat Ansari, who came to meet MLA Abbas Ansari, lodged in Chitrakoot jail, has been arrested. Also, an FIR was lodged against Nikhat Ansari.
As per reports, Nikhat Ansari had arrived at Chitrakoot Jail carrying a mobile and other banned material to meet her husband Abbas Ansari. When a surprise search was conducted, mobiles and other banned material were recovered from them. As per reports, the meeting was taking place in the deputy jailer's room. During this search was done. A case has also been registered in this matter by the jail administration. At the same time, Nikhat Ansari has been arrested and is being interrogated. Orders have also been issued for the negligence of the jail administration.
DIG Jail Prayagraj has been entrusted with the investigation of this matter. Action will also be taken against the policemen who were negligent in Chitrakoot Jail after the investigation report is received. At the same time, DG Jail Anand Kumar has instructed DIG Jail Prayagraj to investigate the matter in the whole matter. DIG Jail will submit the report of the case on Saturday. Please tell that in the money laundering case related to Mukhtar Ansari, ED had arrested Abbas Ansari. Abbas Ansari has been imprisoned in Chitrakoot Jail since his arrest.
Officers threatened with accounting:-

It was told that Abbas was threatening the officers who had taken action against his mafia father Mukhtar Ansari, who was to be accounted for after the formation of the SP government. But, the BJP government was formed in the state under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath and Abbas Ansari himself went to jail on charges of money laundering and now his wife Nikhat has been arrested for giving him mobile and other material in jail.
