Hyderabad: Telangana Forest Department officials have recently won two national awards. In the Wildlife photography competitions organized by the Conservation Society of India (WCS) in the past, Telangana Forest Department officials have given two national awards. Adilabad Divisional Forest Officer Chandrashekhar Rao is in this list, who has won the award for the Tiger photo. Manchiriyal Divisional Forest Officer Siripurao Madhavrao is going to win the second award. He has won the award by photographing Christ Hawk-Eagle.

WCS hosted the 'Best Wildlife Photo 2020' competition on the occasion of World Photography Day last week. Meanwhile, Chandrasekhar Rao took a picture of a tiger at the Tippeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary near the Telangana-Maharashtra border and Madhav Rao took a picture of the crested eagle at the Kavwal Wildlife Sanctuary. In the past, the WCS had given special instructions to the Jannaram Forest Department of the state. Accordingly, he also appreciated seeing his amazing pictures. During this, Forest Minister Indrakaran Reddy, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests Shobha and senior officials of the department congratulated the awardees.

However, in addition to forest officer Chandrashekhar Rao, Manchirial Divisional Forest Officer Siripurao Madhavrao, Akash Deep Barua, Chief Forest Conservator and Rahul Singh Sikarwar of Assam Division won the first prize. In the same sequence, both Madhya Pradesh and Guwahati won four and five awards, these pictures are on the WCS website.
