Will contest from Varanasi if Rahul Gandhi wants: Priyanka Gandhi

Wayanad: Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s sister and also general secretary for eastern Uttar Pradesh Priyanka Gandhi on Sunday said that she will be happy to fight against Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Varanasi parliamentary constituency if Rahul Gandhi asks her to contest.

Earlier, Congress president had said that it was entirely up to Priyanka if she wanted to contest the elections from Varanasi on not.

Before that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Gujarat said that when Wing Commander Abhinandan was captured by the Pakistani forces - a day after India carried out the airstrikes across the Line of Control - he categorically told Pakistan that if anything happens to him then "we will not leave you."

In patan  PM said that he has come to his home turf as their son and it was the duty of the home state to take care of the son of its soil. PM appealed to the people to give all the 26 parliamentary constituencies to BJP.
