It seems that the month of May is going to be a relief in the case of covid infection. It can also be said that India seems to be gaining ground in the fight against covid infection. One of the reasons for this is that the immunization drive imposed in different parts of India is also showing an impact. This is the first time in this month that new cases have been reported in the country below 2.50 lakh in a day.

According to the latest health department data, a total of 2.43 lakh new cases of covid virus have been reported in the country in the last 24 hours, the lowest in may. Not only that, the daily death figures have also seen a big decline.

Cases below 2.5 lakh for the first time in May: According to the Worldmeter, a total of 2,43,777 new cases of covid have been reported in the last 24 hours, raising the total cases of covid in the country to 2,65,28,846. Meanwhile, 3788 people have lost their lives. It has been revealed that this is the first time since May 10 that so few people have died. At present, the total death toll due to covid virus in the country has reached about three lakh, or 299296. The number of active covid patients in the country is currently 28,00,403. The recovery rate figures in the country also seem to be comforting. Today, 354,825 people have recovered from Covid in a day. Comparing the new case recovery, nearly a million more people have recovered than the number of new patients found.
