Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, and Shahrukh Khan starrer 'Pathaan' has completed 9 days at the box office. The movie is also going to get a good response from the audience. The movie also collected Rs 55 crores on the opening day. The movie is also doing record-breaking business from day one and has broken many records. Meanwhile, Rajkumar Santoshi's 'Gandhi Godse – Ek Yudh' has been released on January 26 to compete with 'Pathaan'. But the movie could not stand in front of 'Pathaan'. The movie earned 80 lakhs on the opening day and 34 lakhs on the second day. After this, the screening and earnings of the movie also decreased.

Now to compete with Shah Rukh Khan's 'Pathaan', Bollywood veteran filmmaker and National Award winning director Hansal Mehta and Anubhav Sinha's film is about to be released. The name of the film is 'Faraaz'. Faraaz is based on a real incident. This movie is being told about the terrorist attacks in the year 2016 in Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. There are many talented actors in the film.

'Faraaz' was directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Anubhav Sinha. The trailer of the movie was released 2 weeks ago, and which has been appreciated by the audience and critics. Hansal Mehta is known for his style of making movies. He has given many superhit films like Shahid, Ometra, and Chhalaang. He got a lot of accolades by making the 'Scam 1992' web series. 

Now he has high hopes from 'Faraaz' as well. But 'Toofaan' of 'Pathaan' still remains at the box office. 'Pathaan' has also done a business of Rs 336 crores in India in 8 days. While adding the overseas collection of the movie it reached Rs 667 crore. The movie also collected Rs 17.50 crore on Wednesday.
