The case of eve teasing and stalking are increasing. In yet another a 20-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly attacking a minor girl with a knife in Madhya Pradesh's Jabalpur district. As per the reports he was in one-sided with her. The girl several time rejected her proposal but he threatens to kill her. When she refused to talk to him he attacked the girl.

As per the information the incident took place on December 7, the matter came to the light on December 9 after the CCTV footage of the incident surface. The minor girl of class 10  was going to her coaching classes in the Ghamapur police station area of Jabalpur. The accused I has been identified as Vishal Kevat. When the girl rejected his proposal he hired a minor youth to attack her.

The entire incident was captured in CCTV. The health condition of the girl, who had sustained injuries on her waist. The girl narrating the incident said, “Vikram Kevat lives in the Dwarka Nagar area. He was bothering me for the last one month. Whenever I left home for coaching, he used to follow me in the car. I kept ignoring it. Initially, he followed for a few days, then one day, he stopped and asked me to talk to him.

She further said, “However, I ignored him. Then one day, he crossed his limits. He stopped me midway and threatened me saying if I don't talk to him, he will kill me. On the morning of December 7, when I was going home from the coaching centre and reached Barau society, Vikram came with his partner in a car. He grabbed my hand and tried to stop me. I refused to talk to him and when I started walking towards the police, he came from behind and stabbed me in the back. Later, he stabbed me in the shoulder.”

She further told, “In the meantime, I managed to grab the knife with the other hand to save myself. But by then, I was badly injured and soaked in blood. Some people rushed towards me hearing my screams for help. After this, I fainted, and do not know what happened after this. When I regained consciousness, I was in the hospital,”

The police have arrested the accused Vikram Kevat from Madan Mahal railway station. In the CCTV footage the whole incident was captured and the accused could be seen trying to talk to the girl student. However, she refuses and moves on. The accused chases her and then stabs her. After this, the accused flees the spot.
