New Delhi: The Taliban, a terror group, has captured entire Afghanistan. The question arose whether the Afghan players, Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi, would play in the second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Both Darsal Rashid and Nabi are part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) franchise team. Both are currently in the United Kingdom (UK) and are playing The Hundred League.

Rashid is playing for the Trent Rockets in the league, while Nabi is in the London Spirit squad. Meanwhile, SRH CEO K Shanmugam has said that the Afghan players will play in the second leg of the IPL. At the same time, he has said that we have not talked about what is happening in Afghanistan at present, but they are available for the tournament.

When asked when the team would leave for UAE, SRH CEO said that their team will leave for UAE later this month. Earlier, both Rashid and Nabi players had appealed to the world's most powerful leaders to come forward to help afghans.
