Bhopal: Amid growing demand for disinfectants due to the spread of Coronavirus, the Madhya Pradesh government has ordered the brewery factories to produce sanitizer and spirits. In an order issued by Excise Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh Rajesh Bahuguna, it has been said that the demand for sanitizer has increased due to Coronavirus epidemic. Therefore, prepare distillery spirits and sanitizers and ensure availability of these products in government and private hospitals. In this order, the names of eleven distilleries located in different regions of the state have also been written, which have been spoken to produce them. It has been said in the order that the process of supply will be supervised by the Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner of Excise Department.

The Excise Department has also ordered supply of sanitizer through government excise warehouses. These products prepared by the distillery will be supplied in the surrounding districts. Meanwhile, the state government has also made arrangements to provide hand sanitizer in Mriganyani Emporium at an affordable rate to protect against coronavirus infection. Principal Secretary MSME and Commissioner Industries Manu Srivastava informed that these sanitizers will be available in Bhopal and Indore from March 27 in the first phase on the emporium operated by the State Small Industries Corporation. The next phase will be available in the emporiums of Gwalior, Jabalpur and Rewa.

The sanitizer is going to be available from 11 am to 5 pm. He told that the price of 90 ml sanitizer has been kept at Rs 50 and for 180 ml sanitizer, it has been kept at Rs 90. Other sales will not operate in the Emporium during this time. No more than three customers will be allowed to enter the emporium at one time. According to the demand, the health department will also provide sanitizers to other hospitals and district administration.
