New Delhi: Winter session of Parliament starts today. The session is expected to run till 13 December. Explain that this will be the second session of the 17th Lok Sabha and the 250th session of the Rajya Sabha. The government is considering a plan to legislate two major ordinances along with several bills in this session. One of these ordinances was brought in September to amend the Income Tax Act, 1961 and the Finance Act, 2019.

At the same time, Jagannath Mishra, Arun Jaitley, Sukhdev Singh Libra, Ram Jethmalani and Gurudas Gupta were also remembered in the Upper House.
