Winter Session of Parliament; opposition raises issue of Farooq Abdullah's custody

New Delhi: The winter session of Parliament has started from today. This session is expected to run until 13 December. Explain that this is the second session of the 17th Lok Sabha and the 250th session of the Rajya Sabha. The government is working on a plan to legislate two major ordinances, along with bringing several bills in this session. One of these ordinances was brought in September for amendment of the Income Tax Act, 1961 and Finance Act, 2019. At the same time, the second ordinance was also issued in September, which is related to ban on sale, manufacture, and storage of e-cigarettes and similar devices.

After the commencement of the proceedings of the House, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut recalled Arun Jaitley in the Rajya Sabha and said, "Arun Jaitley was the other name of the struggle and I was with him in every struggle." Said in Lok Sabha that, "Today 108 days have passed since the arrest of Farooq Abdullah. What is this persecution? We want them to be brought to Parliament. This is his constitutional right."

Apart from this, Chaudhary said, "I also want to raise the issue of removing the SPG security of Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi." Along with this, opposition MPs in the Lok Sabha raised slogans, "Stop attacking the opposition, Farooq Abdullah Release Zee, We Want Justice".
