Indore: Crime cases are on the rise in Indore in Madhya Pradesh nowadays. Recently, the police have arrested a young man and woman who used to trap the elderly and elderly men of the city and collect huge sums of money from them. Yes, an elderly man complained in this case, and acting on his complaint, the police have busted the gang. In the case, TI Tehzeeb Qazi disclosed, "An elderly LIC agent and his son, 65 years old, had come to the police station and complained that a young man and a young woman had extorted Rs 2 lakh from him as a crime branch officer.''

He further said, "Along with the complaint, they also provided a phone number on the basis of which a young woman and one of her accomplices have been arrested." During interrogation in the case, the duo said that they wanted to become rich soon and started cheating. He also said that the 65-year-old LIC agent was first called by the girl on the pretext of getting insurance and then increased the phone conversation with the elderly. The girl then called the elderly man to meet him at Meghdoot Garden in Indore.

When the elderly man came here, another boy from the gang, who was a companion of the girl, made a video of the two and came to the elderly and the girl a short while later and described himself as a crime branch officer. He then showed the video made on his mobile and extorted Rs 2 lakh by threatening to make it viral. The victim then went to the police station and lodged a complaint in this regard. In the interrogation here, the young man said that they used to hunt only people who were either old or had recently taken a retirement. Police are now interrogating the duo and trying to find out who else is involved in their gang and how many such people they have cheated on so far.
