Nagpur: In a shocking case, a woman murdered her husband in Nagpur. The accused killed her abusive husband by hitting him with bricks after he came home drunk and was being aggressive.

As per the report, accused herself reported the matter to the police in order to cover up the crime and claimed that a wall had collapsed on him, resulting in his death.

According to report, Inderal Inwati and his wife Laxmibai lived with their children in Yashodharnagar area of Nagpur city. Inderal was working as a construction worker in Nagpur. Inderlal was an alcoholic and would often beat his wife in drunken rage. When his father-in-law tried to stop him, he also beat him.

On Friday night, when drunk Inderlal reached home and the couple had a heated argument. Inderlal started beating his wife and in retaliation, she attacked him with bricks. Her father Dashrath Markolhe also beat the man and he was fatally injured and finally died.

Post Murder, Laxmibai hatched a plan to save herself. She reached the police station and told cops that on Friday night, at around 11 PM, a brick wall fell on her husband while he was returning from work and he died. Police also registered a case of accidental death.

A doctor's kin was allegedly looted at knife-point

However, police suspected something amiss and started an investigation. During the investigation, police team interrogated Laxmibai and she confessed to the crime and the basis of a confession, police arrested Laxmibai and her father.
