Metaverses made up of the combination of the physical world and the virtual world are a place where it seems that everything is happening in real. When a woman signed up within the same metaverse, she was gang-raped within 60 seconds. 

Virtual gang-rape by users of Metaverse: According to media reports, a  43-year-old woman has posted on a medium blog saying that her avatar was sexually exploited and gang-raped by other users in Metaverse. Nina Jane Patel described the entire scene in a medium blog post, alleging that all this happened within seconds of her entering the virtual world. 

Gang-raped and took pictures: Where the woman has said about this, "Within 60 seconds of joining the metaverse, I was being verbally and sexually harassed even with male voices by 3-4 male avatars." They gang-raped my avatar and clicked photos."

Not only that, the 43-year-old woman has said how she saw her avatar being sexually raped by a group of male avatars who also clicked her photo and gave her messages like "Don't pretend you didn't like it."  After that, she immediately broke her headphones and has started to experience anxiety ever since. The woman is working as vice president of Metaverse Research for Kabooni Ventures, an immersive technology company.
