The International Cricket Council (ICC) has also made an official announcement. Let us know that earlier in 2013, the Women's World Cup was held in India. India will host the 50-over Women's World Cup in 2025. India successfully bid at the ICC meeting in Birmingham. The meeting decided on a five-year future tour schedule. The Women's T20 World Cup will be held in Bangladesh in 2024 and England in 2026. Let us know that the first women's T20 Championship will be held in Sri Lanka in 2027. Speaking on the occasion, BCCI Chief Sourav Ganguly said, "We were keen to host the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup 2025 and we are happy that we have got the rights to host this important sporting event on the women's calendar."
He said India hosted the 50-over Women's World Cup in 2013 and there has been a tremendous change in the game since then. He further said "The popularity of women's cricket is growing rapidly, and it is a step in the right direction. The BCCI will work closely with the ICC and complete all the requirements.''
