Panaji: Goa CM Pramod Sawant has recently made a big announcement. Goa CM Pramod Sawant has announced changes in the rules related to recruitment for government jobs, saying that at least one year of working experience in the private sector will now be made mandatory for this.

CM Pramod Sawant has said that now new people will not be taken directly into government service. He said that government job aspirants now have to work in the private sector before applying for government jobs. Youth will be able to apply for government jobs only after working in the private sector for at least one year. Pramod Sawant made this announcement while addressing a function organized in Talegaon village of North Goa. He said that this decision will help the government to get a skilled workforce. CM Pramod Sawant also said that only skilled youth should be selected for vacant posts in government jobs. For this, the government will make necessary amendments to the recruitment rules.

He said that there has been no change in the recruitment rules for the last 30 years. Pramod Sawant also called upon the graduate pass youths to take additional courses to upgrade their qualifications and said that now that thing has become old when people used to think that they will get a government job after completing their studies. He said that the Goa government is working on infrastructure as well as human resources.
