Indore: Most corona patients have been found in the city. Efforts are being made to provide Aadhaar registration facility to the citizens in the district amidst to recover from the corona infection. There are 50 Aadhaar registration centres in the city, out of which 30 have been instructed to start with special precautions. Everything was closed due to lockdown. Collector Manish Singh has issued an order. In this, permission has been given to Aadhaar registration centres located outside the containment area of the city. As per the instructions, all the citizens coming to the Aadhaar centre will be required to wash their hands with soap or sanitizer before entering the centre.

Everyone has to wear a mask and only during photo capture, the mask can be removed. Biometric machines will be essentially sanitized after every registration. It is said that all the equipment should be kept clean at the base centres. The staff will wear masks the entire time and follow the physical distance. E-Governance Manager Atul Pandey has told that work will be done from 10 am to 5 pm at these registration centres. The entry of employees coming from the containment area will be restricted. Registration of the remaining 20 centres will also begin this week.

During the coronavirus lockdown in Madhya Pradesh, all the base centres were closed. But now this facility has been started. After this, the work of getting new Aadhaar cards and updating the cards was completely stopped. Now with the opening of these centres, the work related to Aadhaar will be able to start back.
