HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao said the state is making significant progress in public health and medical facilities.

On the occasion of World Health Day today he sent greetings to the public and wished them a healthy and happy life. Telengana govt is working to protect people's health, he said. "The state government's commitment has been demonstrated by the continuous upgrading of healthcare facilities in all four corners of the state. The government increased the financial allocation to healthcare in tandem with the execution of many projects "he claimed.

The Chief Minister said that the Medical and Health Department has gained widespread praise at the national level for providing high-quality medical services and receiving the highest NITI Ayog ranking. Telangana has gained third place in the country for public health protection, according to the Chief Minister, who praised the state Medical and Health Minister and the department's whole personnel.

The medical department's human resources have been increased as part of efforts to boost the medical and health sector. In the health wing, the government has approved 21,073 positions.
