Corona is wreaking havoc all over the world. Meanwhile, the coming of World Malaria Day reminds us that there are many diseases in the world that make people sick every year. World Malaria Day is observed on 25th April every year. It was started in the year 2007. UNICEF started this day so that people's attention could be drawn to this terrible disease because millions of people were dying every year.

Why it started:-
World Malaria Day was first started as African Malaria Day. Because the goal was to reduce deaths in African countries. But in 2007, the World Health Organization decided to celebrate Malaria Day at the African level as World Malaria Day at a meeting.

Causes of malaria:-
Malaria is caused by a species of mosquitoes, female anopheles. Which is caused by plasmodium parasites that infect these mosquitoes. However, out of many Plasmodium parasites, only five types of parasites spread malaria in humans. Of which plasmodium falciparum is responsible for most of the deaths worldwide. Malaria is the most common lying mosquito in African countries.

Safety Measures:-
The symptoms of malaria usually appear after 10 to 15 days of the bite of the infected mosquito. The symptoms of which are fever, headache, and cold in the body. The best way to prevent malaria is to use mosquito nets and use indoor residual spraying.
