Milk gives us many essential nutrients. 1st June is celebrated as World Milk Day every year to understand the importance of milk and not allow it to go waste, to make it aware of its benefits. Even today, there are many people in India who are unable to get milk so that their body is left short of nutrition. So let's know the importance of World Milk Day.

History of World Milk Day: Let us tell you that this day was started in 2001. It was launched by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. More than 70 countries have been participating in the World Milk Day over the years. In these countries, many programmes are organized with great fanfare to understand the importance of milk. National Milk Day is celebrated in India on 26th November.

These nutrients are found in milk: Not only that, milk contains many nutrients which are also very important for the body. It contains vitamins E, D, K and A. And magnesium, iodine, phosphorus, calcium, riboflavin are also found in milk, so milk intake from childhood is very beneficial for children and is also essential for the good health of the elderly.
