History of World Ozone Day...

To protect the ozone layer on top of the Earth, the United Nations General Assembly had announced to celebrate World Ozone Day on September 16, 1994. Let us tell you that on this day the Montreal Protocol made in 1987 for the protection of the ozone layer was signed. World Ozone Day was celebrated for the first time in 1995, a year after the United Nations General Assembly announced it in 1994. Since then, it is celebrated on different themes every year until now.
