Srinagar: The work of the main arch of the world's highest railway bridge in the country has been completed on Monday. This bridge is located in the Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. This Chenab Bridge of India is also higher than the Eiffel Tower. With the construction of this bridge of strategic importance, the entire Kashmir valley will now be able to connect with other parts of the country. Actually, this bridge is a part of the USBRL project being built from Udhampur in Jammu to Baramulla in Kashmir.

With the construction of this railway line, the Indian Army will not only have the flexibility to reach the India-China border but will also save four to five hours. However, China is definitely going to be upset by this. In an interaction with the media, Ashutosh Gangal, GM of Northern Railway has told that this is the highest railway bridge in the world, which is also 35 meters higher than the Eiffel Tower. Its elevation is 359 meters above the river level. The tallest crane in the history of Indian Railways has been used to prepare this bridge.

With this, the heavy steel bridge segment hanging from the ropeway of the crane in the sky was kept in its exact place. Now, this deck of the railway line will move forward and will connect with the bridge being built above the Chenab arch, on which the railway line will be laid.
