In August, Amitabh Bachchan tested positive for COVID-19 a second time. This week, on his birthday, the actor resumed the custom of greeting his fans in front of his home. On the episode of his quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati that aired on Friday, the actor said that he is "not afraid" of getting sick after encountering his fans.

Following his exposure to the novel coronavirus, Amitabh took a break from Kaun Banega Crorepati. The actor joined the sets shortly after finishing the required quarantine period and kept shooting for a long time. The 80-year-old actor was informed on Friday by a contestant named Shambhavi Bandal that he might also contract the disease if he encounters an infected spectator.

Amitabh surprised his fans by coming out to meet them at his home on October 11, the day of his birthday. Throughout the Covid pandemic, the practise was stopped. Later, he expressed his gratitude to his supporters for attending and made a commitment to keep up the custom of "Sunday darshan."

He stated on his blog that he had "expressed my love and gratitude beyond measure to the Ef for making and taking the trouble to gift and be present for the meetings at Jalsa and Janak." Your devotion has been unwaveringly resolved and unwaveringly persistent for a very long time. You are all my heart and soul; I can only say that. One that breathes and beats with me, one who shares my unconditional love. I have no idea what I could have done to earn this love and respect, but one thing is for certain: we will always remember and cherish you. All of you, stay secure and connected. As I previously mentioned, I'm hoping to resume that lost tale at the gates of Jalsa starting this Sunday. I sincerely hope I'll have enough time to attend to you before I have to leave for work.
