'Would have straightened Bihar like Tekua...', Jitan Ram Manjhi's big statement

Patna: Former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi reached Mehudinagar village in the Nalanda assembly constituency. Here he participated in the 132nd birth anniversary programme of Constitution-maker Babasaheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. During this, Manjhi, while addressing the gathering, said that four mantras are required to advance the schedule. If we work on those mantras, then definitely the society will progress from a political, economic, and all other point of view.

While healing his old wounds, Jitan Ram Manjhi said that he had resigned from the post of CM on February 19, 2015. If we had the strength of 50 MLAs, no one would have had the courage to remove us from the post. If he was not removed from the post of CM, then it is only a matter of 5 years, and we would have made Bihar straight like a tekua (the needle used to sew gunny bags) in 2 years.

Former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi said that there should be a system of reservation in the private sector as well. We have to fight for this. He attacked the central government and accused it of conspiring to end reservations. Jitan Ram Manjhi said during the function organised in Mehudi Nagar that no matter how good the constitution is, if the person running it is not right, the situation will get worse. Today, the person running the constitution is privatising railways, ships, financial companies, and food grains. There are no reservations about this. The percentage of reservation that was talked about—that much reservation should be done in the private sector as well; only then will our children get jobs.
