Wrestlers sat on a dharna at Jantar Mantar against the outgoing president of the Wrestling Federation of India, Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh. A complaint was also lodged against the players in the Patiala House Court for registering an FIR. The court had also sought a status report on the matter. The news says that a petition was filed in the Patiala House Court demanding that wrestlers Sakshi Malik, Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia are engaged in defaming the country. Therefore, an FIR should be registered against him. On the last hearing, the court has also issued an order to the Delhi Police to file a status report in the case. Delhi Police has asked the Patiala House Court to close the complaint made by Bam Bam Maharaj against the protesting wrestlers.
