US tech giant Apple has announced the use of an in-house Apple Silicon processor in its upcoming MacBook device, while Apple's latex silicon chipsets will be based on ARM. These chipsets will be built on the same structure, which processors are currently being used in iPhone, Apple Watch and iPad. The company's latest processor will give a tough competition to the existing Intel chipset in the coming time.

Apple CEO Tim Cook has said that the MacBook has adopted all kinds of changes to stay ahead from the beginning. The use of an in-house silicon chipset will increase the performance of the MacBook much more than before. He further states that it is a historic day for the MacBook. According to the media report, the company may introduce the latest MacBook device to the market with the Apple Silicon chipset by the end of this year. Apple silicon chipsets can replace Intel processors in the coming years.

Apple has released the iOS 14 operating system in addition to these chipsets. Many changes have been made in this new operating system. Also, users have got special features like Home Widget including app library in this version. However, the iOS 14 operating system has not yet been released to all users.
