WWE is known to pull off huge surprises, especially at its flagship events. And if reports are to be believed, the professional wrestling behemoth is planning to bring an iconic star for the Survivor Series slated for next month.
WWE plan for the blockbuster main event will be the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar will go head to head with the most prestigious Champion in the sports the WWE Champion ‘The Modern Day Maharaja’ Jinder Mahal and according to the rumor it was expecting there will be a guest referee and either John Cena, The Rock or Steve Austin are reportedly their top candidates. It is the clash of titan which happen once in a year only in the Survivor Series.
There has already been much buzz around Cena's return who is currently busy with his Hollywood career, a Transformers movie spin-off. There were even rumors of The Undertaker returning six months after hanging his boots amidst much fanfare at WrestleMania 33.
As per latest reports, WWE is pulling out all stops to rope in either The Rock or Stone Cold for the guest role at Survivor Series.
Jinder Mahal, the current WWE Champion, challenged Brock Lesnar for a fight on Smackdown Live earlier this month. The Beast accepted the challenge and will meet The Modern Day Maharaja in a Champion vs Champion match at the Survivor Series on November 19.
