Xiaomi is all set to launch its latest flagship series, the Xiaomi 14, worldwide on February 25, just before the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024. This unveiling will introduce the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, and there's speculation about the possible debut of the high-end Xiaomi 14 Ultra at the same event. The news was confirmed by Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun on the social media platform X, sparking excitement among tech fans globally.

The Xiaomi 14 series, first revealed in China in October 2023, brings in the innovative HyperOS user interface, promising a significant improvement in user experience. The global launch aims to showcase the company's technological advancements on an international level.

According to reports, one of the most anticipated features of the series is the rumored Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Recently spotted on Geekbench with the model number 24030PN60G, the Ultra version is expected to run on the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with an Adreno 750 GPU, and may offer up to 16GB of RAM. It will operate on the Android 14-based HyperOS, providing users with a smooth and advanced user interface.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is rumored to sport a 6.7-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Security might be enhanced with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor for advanced data protection.

Photography enthusiasts can look forward to an exceptional experience with the Xiaomi 14 Ultra's quad rear camera setup, led by a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-900 primary sensor. The device will pack a 5,180mAh battery, supporting 90W wired and 50W wireless charging, catering to users who prioritize both speed and convenience.

Meanwhile, the global versions of the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro are expected to match their Chinese counterparts in terms of specifications. For example, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will offer a 6.73-inch 2K LTPO display, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage.
