China's smartphone company Xiaomi said that it expects that by the end of this year, 30% of its sales in India will be through offline stores. The company initially used to sell its mobile phones only online, however, now it is increasing sales through stores. 30% of Xiaomi smartphone sales can be from the offline store by the end of this year
Xiaomi India chief Manu Kumar Jain said, "The offline sector for us is growing rapidly. In August this year, 20% of our sales were made offline. According to Jain, the company had said that it will open 100 Mi homes stores in two years, nine of which have already been opened."
Recently, Xiaomi has released two new smartphones on the market namely, Redmi Y1 and Redmi Y1 Lite. Most of the low-priced Cheyomi phones give other smartphones in the market to compete in terms of price and feature. Along with these phones, the company has also introduced OS MIUI 9.
