Yamaha has hiked prices for its neo-retro motorbike, the FZ-X, which was recently modified for the 2022 FZS line-up. The FZ-X has gone from Rs 1.24 lakh to Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) thanks to a Rs 2,000 price hike, with no modifications to the motorbike itself.

Most of the FZ-X's including its 149cc air-cooled engine, are shared with the basic FZ range of motorcycles. The output stats are the same as the FZS: 12.4hp at 7,250rpm and 13.3Nm of torque at 6,500rpm. It contrasts from the FZ in terms of aesthetics and ergonomics, with a distinctive neo-retro look as opposed to the FZ's traditional macho streetfighter design.
