Yamaha Motor Indonesia has announced the debut of the 2022 MT-25 motorbike, which has been upgraded. The quarter-litre naked streetfighter now comes in two new colour schemes, but other from that, there are no other significant changes to the new bike.

Yamaha's distinctive Metallic Blue colour, with lighter blue added to the tank panels and tail portion, is one of the newly available possibilities. Body-colored wheels are also included in this paint scheme. In addition, the motorbike is available in a Metallic Dark Grey paint option that looks even better owing to the addition of orange and cyan accents over the main grey colour. The remainder of the design is unaffected except from this alteration.

The bike's outside appearance is influenced by the MT-09 and may also be found on the MT-15 motorbike, which is also available in India. The bike's robot-styled headlight with LEDs and a single projector is one of the bike's primary outside features. It has air scoops on the sides that add to its muscular appearance.

A 250cc parallel-twin engine, which is also featured on the popular YZF-R25 motorbike, remains at the core of the bike. This engine has a maximum power output of 35.5bhp and a torque output of 23.6Nm. A 6-speed transmission is available as an option. The new Yamaha MT-25 is not expected to be released in India anytime soon. For the record, Yamaha currently sells the FZ-25 naked bike in India, which competes with the Bajaj Pulsar 250, Suzuki Gixxer 250, and KTM 200 Duke.
